About

Originally started in 2010, ACDSleeve is the one man packaging operation of Tom Leggett. It ran for 8 years and produced over 85,000 pieces of packaging, completing close to 1,000 bespoke orders single handedly, and came up with new and interesting packaging ideas for the music industry, a lot of which couldn’t be found elsewhere, for bands, record labels and everyone in between. In the years since it ended Tom has learned a lot of about structural packaging design, print and production in packaging/industrial design roles, where first time around everything was entirely self taught and at times felt like a hobby which got out of control. ACDSleeve v2 will be able to push the boundaries of what is possible for short run and unique packaging options taking everything from the first time round, what’s been learned in the years since in a more formal packaging role and improving everything across the board.

Tom Leggett
Owner / Designer / Manufacturer
Tom has two passions, music and design. Struggling to find work after university he set about trying to combine the two. A lack of machinery limited him to cardboard and a craft knife and previous interest in collapsibility in products lead Tom to design the pop up CD case. This formed the beginnings of ACDSleeve.

Kev Douch
Executive Director
Kev owns and runs Big Scary Monsters Records, he helped Tom set up ACDSleeve in 2010 and has been pushing him to it set it back up in the years since it ended. Having released hundreds of records over the years through various labels, Kev has always tried to raise the bar by producing interesting packaging solutions, and working with bands from all over the world from bands just starting out to those with huge fanbases.
