RAD SOCKS! (Dad Rocks!)
It’s taken seven weeks to go from the first idea to finishing the first batch of 50 Dad Rocks! cases. Having the original artwork to work from made it much easier to come up with the idea, it was pretty much finalised within three days, then artwork / images / measurements were tested and prototyped in the next couple of weeks with roughly 7 or 8 prototypes being made. Each case has 10 parts, all of which have to be cut, 7 of which have to be scored aswell.
All the printing came on A3 sheets, to be handcut/scored.
Handcut and scored cases were stamped with the cover artwork using homemade stamp made with foam letters. The semi circle for the CD side was cut out using a (pretty useless) circle cutter.
They’re going to be stamped with the BSM stamp on the other side to the ACDSleeve stamp (so long as Kev remembers to) and sent out early next week, only another 50 to make when the first batch run out.
